We work with our clients to help assess the performance of IT infrastructures, establish baselines, and identify opportunities for optimization/improvement. We are looking for a Network Performance Engineer to interface with our team and our clients to help assess the performance of IT infrastructures, establish baselines, and identify opportunities for optimization/improvement. This is a highly visible, client-facing role. We value creative, strategic thinkers with demonstrated interest and skills in optimizing network performance.

We are looking for a team member with the following skills:
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years of system administration
  • Expert level experience in Microsoft Windows, Windows Server Family of Products, and Redhat Linux
  • Expert level knowledge of infrastructure protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth 2.0, SSH, SFTP, SCP, SNMPv3, Netflow, SMTP.
  • Advanced level of experience automating data reporting or operational tasks with scripting languages (including Python and Bash).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline processes.
  • Solid understanding of other networking technologies (including TCP/IP, traffic analysis, TAPs, traffic brokers)
  • Excellent understanding of technology concepts such as SDLC, systems engineering, IT performance management, IT operations, operational monitoring, security monitoring, and KPI
  • Experience working with or integrating various enterprise management systems
  • Experienced leader of highly complex projects as part of a larger team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing

If you have any of the following, it would be a bonus:
  • Active US Secret or Top Secret clearance
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Bash
  • CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP and/or CCDA certifications
  • Extensive experience in packet analysis (Wireshark)
  • Familiarity with ITILv3 concepts especially Service Operations
