Job Responsibilities:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program (college or university), preferably in Software Engineering/Computer Science discipline or equivalent.
  • Experience creating AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio is an asset (topics, actions, connectors, environments/solutions, publishing, and testing).
  • Experience building locally hosted LLM agents using real data is an asset (on-prem/self-hosted models, RAG, data grounding).
  • Experience with Databricks and Databricks Genie is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of conversation design is an asset (intent design, clarifying questions, fallback handling, escalation to humans).
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is an asset (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Dataverse).
  • Familiarity with knowledge sources and agent grounding is an asset (Databricks, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, structured FAQs, metadata).
  • Basic programming/scripting skills are an asset (examples: Python, JavaScript).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is an asset (Microsoft SQL Serverpreferred)
  • Experience with dashboards/visualization is an asset (Power BI, Grafana, Excel dashboards).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Able to be flexible in hours of work to meet internal/external customer requirements.
  • Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Engineering department with day-to-day tasks, including data management, documentation updates, meeting support, and coordination of engineering deliverables.
  • Build and maintain Copilot Studio agents that support Engineering and Operations workflows (Q&A, guided work, task routing, standard responses).
  • Design agent topics and conversation flows including trigger phrases, clarifying questions, error handling, and escalation paths.
  • Connect agents to approved business systems using actions and connectors (examples: SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Dataverse, Databricks, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Create and curate knowledge sources for reliable agent answers (structured content, FAQs, tagging/metadata, revision control).
  • Develop test plans and execute iterative testing (happy paths, edge cases, access checks, regression testing) and track improvements.
  • Monitor agent performance and adoption (usage, success rate, top intents, failure reasons) and implement continuous improvement.
  • Document agent design and support materials (architecture, knowledge sources, actions, permissions, release notes, user guide).
  • Automate current business systems and workflows to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy (Power Automate and basic scripting as applicable).
  • Required to adhere to all Health and Safety programs in accordance with the O.H.S.A.
  • Follow and ensure the company's procedures regarding safety rules and regulations are followed throughout the plant.
  • Ensure that you work and operate equipment according to the company's safety rules and regulations.
  • Ensure that your department is clean, tidy, organized and a safe workplace at all times.
  • Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and Policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e. TS16949, ISO14001)

Salary Range: $28.09 - $33.05
