The Opportunity

We are seeking a candidate to join our Digital Product Management team as aIntern, Business Analyst for an 8 month internship starting this fall. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive business and product support for Data management. Your primary focus will involve collaborating with various teams, including Investment Management, Portfolio Construction, Trading, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, HR and Operations to support them in data automation needs.


The expectedhourlybase salary range for this role is $25.00to$35.00, with finalhourlysalary determined based on experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

You'll have the opportunity to learn and lead:

  • Be part of exciting business projects, supporting the team in deploying new data and reporting solutions. You'll get hands-on experience and learn how business and technology teams work together.
  • Work alongside experienced team members to help define and document business needs and processes.
  • Learn to use helpful tools like flowcharts, activity diagrams, surveys, interviews, and workflow analysis to gather and manage information.
  • Assist in collecting information from multiple sources, making sense of it, and turning high-level requests into actionable tasks.
  • Help identify and document business objectives, current processes, and challenges while learning from subject matter experts.
  • Use templates to create documents such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria-and share ideas to make them even better.
  • Support data analysis and reporting, helping transform complex information into clear and simple insights.
  • Collaborate with management and business partners to keep project roadmaps up to date and understand how priorities evolve.
  • Work closely with technology and support teams to see how cross-functional projects come together.
  • Get exposure to Agile projects and contribute throughout


What we're looking for:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM program such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or another related field.
  • Interest in financial concepts, capital markets, wealth management, or asset management.
  • Some exposure to data analysis through coursework, projects, or prior experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or PowerBI is helpful but not required.
  • Curiosity about how data is used to make decisions and a desire to learn new skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize information clearly.
  • Comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and communicating with team members.
  • Eagerness to collaborate, adapt, and contribute in a fast-moving, supportive environment.
  • Motivation to learn, grow, and make an impact while gaining meaningful experience.
  • Experience with AI tools, data analytics platforms, or automation technologies is considered an asset.
