Local Team Collaboration:

  • We believe in local, site-led leadership.
  • Strong collaboration between all physicians and CRNAs on the team supporting full scope of practice for all members.
  • 16 physician and 62 CRNA model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide perioperative and postoperative care for a Level I trauma center offering cardiac, OB/GYN, general, pediatrics, ortho, neuro, and vascular surgeries.
  • Works in collaboration with CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians and medical professionals to ensure appropriate anesthesia services are delivered.
  • Participates in quality assurance efforts, ensuring patient care requirements are met.
  • Effectively assesses and prioritizes various projects. Demonstrates a willingness to work as a team.
  • Complies with Employer’s “Code of Conduct” and Core Values at all times - Quality, Service, Integrity, Innovation, and Teamwork.
  • Is committed to interacting effectively and professionally with others.
  • Applies principles for changing/effecting others’ experiences, beliefs, and actions, promoting Sound’s interest and goals.
  • Promotes the profession of Nurse Anesthesia and Sound in a positive manner.

Scheduling:

  • An average 40-hour work week.
  • Mixture of 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts.
  • 2nd call approx. 1:40 days with call back pay.

Qualifications:

  • NBCRNA certified (or to be certified if a student).
  • Active FL license.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
