Summary of Position
As a Millwright, you'll work alongside experienced technicians installing, repairing, maintaining, and relocating industrial equipment at customer facilities throughout the Midwest.
You'll receive hands-on training while developing valuable skills in mechanical installation, fabrication, welding, and rigging.
What You'll Do
· Assist with the installation, repair, maintenance, and relocation of industrial equipment
· Learn to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
· Work with conveyors, bearings, pumps, motors, and other production equipment
· Assist with equipment rigging and installation
· Perform basic welding and fabrication (or learn these skills)
· Operate hand and power tools safely
· Assist with shop fabrication as needed
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Travel with a crew to customer facilities throughout the Midwest
What We're Looking For
· Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
· Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, construction, farming, automotive repair, welding, or another skilled trade is a plus
· Ability to use basic hand and power tools
· Ability to read a tape measure
· Strong work ethic and reliability
· Commitment to safety
· Team-oriented attitude
· Millwright, welding, fabrication, or rigging experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate
Physical Requirements
· Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
· Ability to stand, kneel, climb, bend, and work in industrial environments
· Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Travel & Schedule
· Some travel is required
· Weekend work during scheduled shutdowns on occasion
· Frequent overtime opportunities
· Double-time pay on Sundays
