Job description

ICU Registered Nurse Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and life-support interventions. The ICU RN works collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced community hospital setting.

Qualifications
  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN required; BSN preferred)

  • Minimum of 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred (new graduates may be considered with appropriate training)

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association)

  • CCRN certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical judgment skills

  • Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
