Job description

This role will support maintenance for fracturing operations. This role may spend up to 6 months in a training capacity working at the facility shop in Alvarado, TX. That timeframe is based on experience and learning pace.
Schedule: Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.
  • Shop: 14 days on/7 days off; Occasional travel to support field operations may be required.
  • Field: 14 days on/7 days off (rotates day and night shifts); Out of town & state travel is required as needed. This role could work anywhere in the United States. Lodging, transporation and per diem will be provided when traveling with frac crew.

Job Duties
  • Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electronics, instrumentation, computer hardware, and network systems
  • Calibrate and verify accuracy of instrumentation using appropriate standards and test equipment
  • Operate and utilize test equipment to identify faults
  • Perform soldering and component level repairs as needed
  • Performs function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance
  • Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints
  • Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware
  • Must possess advanced computer literacy
  • Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record
  • This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) during daily job activities
  • Performs own work and assists others as directed
  • Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations

Qualifications
Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in an electrical field is required; Technical Certification is preferred
  • Possession of personal tools to complete electronic repair work is required

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
