Job description

Hourly Pay Range:
$31.46 - $48.76 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $1,000
  • Position: Radiologic Technologist III - Per Diem
  • Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
  • Per Diem/PRN - As Needed
  • Hours: Flexible shifts to choose: 7:00am-3:30pm, 2:30pm-11:00pm or 10:30pm - 7am
  • On-Call schedule, rotating holidays
What you will do:
The Level III Radiology Technologist is proficient in a range of tasks and skills allowing performance of multiple procedures beyond basic diagnostic x-ray.
In addition to the Radiology Tech II responsibilities, these Level III Technologists are trained to work directly with physicians while running complex specialized equipment in sterile environments. This equipment includes: 3D C-Arm, O-Arm, Stealth Navigation. This makes the Level III Technologist valuable team members who can proficiently perform a variety of complex procedures above and beyond a level II technologist
What you will need:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher
  • IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure or "notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation"
  • At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.). Required within 2yrs of temporary license date.
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
  • 1 year prior X-Ray experience
  • Prior X-Ray experience in a surgical environment, preferred
