Job description

Care for complex patients who need close monitoring—without full ICU intensity.

We’re seeking experienced and confident PCU/SDU Registered Nurses to care for patients requiring advanced monitoring and frequent assessments. If you enjoy managing higher‐acuity patients and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, this role offers meaningful impact every shift.

  • 12‐Hour Shifts Only
    • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
    • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring progressive or step‐down level care
  • Perform frequent patient assessments and monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and vital signs
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders
  • Care for patients with cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and post‐surgical conditions
  • Recognize early signs of deterioration and escalate care appropriately
  • Collaborate with physicians, ICU teams, and interdisciplinary care partners
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and recovery plans
  • Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality‐of‐care standards
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU, SDU, Telemetry, or ICU RN experience required
  • BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
  • Strong assessment, cardiac monitoring, and critical‐thinking skills
  • Ability to manage higher‐acuity patients in a fast‐paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Calm, confident clinical judgment
