Description

Oneida Health is currently seeking a per-diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for residents at our Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility in Oneida, NY. All shifts available - hours will vary. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team while providing residents with a high level of care.

*Starting Rate - $19.50/hr.

*Shift Differential: Evening - $2.05/hr. Night - $2.45/hr.

Qualifications

Your Essential Qualifications:

  • Education (at least one of the following is required)
    • Completion of a Nurses Aide Training Program
    • Completion of two semesters in an RN or LPN program
    • Completion of 90 contact hours of medical-surgical clinical training
  • License:
    • New York Certified Nursing Assistant (Required)
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and move residents with assistance.
    • Stamina and endurance to work long shifts and perform physical tasks.
    • Manual dexterity for assisting residents with ADLs and performing other duties.
