Job description

Per Diem Registered Nurse

Menorah Park of CNY is looking for a Per Diem Registered Nurse to assist in our Group Home located in Fayetteville, NY. Must have strong knowledge of Office of People with Developmental Disabilities regulations. Hours are as needed no weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and direct support providers to provide care that promotes individual health and recovery
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, preventative measures.
  • Ensure compliance with all OPWDD regulations, policies and procedures.
