Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing secure video conferencing technology to provide accessible care to clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, collaborating closely with clients to identify their goals and objectives.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure holistic care and integrated treatment strategies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records following HIPAA guidelines, contributing to the continuity of care and treatment tracking.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective interventions that promote client resilience and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base primarily comprises individuals dealing with substance use disorders who are in the crucial stages of detoxification. The population we serve often faces significant challenges, including co-occurring mental health issues, requiring sensitivity and tailored approaches in treatment. As an LCSW, your work will directly contribute to improving clients' coping skills, emotional regulation, and overall mental health while they navigate the recovery process.

Qualifications

• Current LCSW licensure in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s degree in Social Work is preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years of direct experience in a clinical social work environment, preferably within substance use or mental health treatment settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, understanding cultural sensitivities and individual needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with clients in crisis and those undergoing detoxification.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual client engagement.
• Proficiency in developing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

Join us in making a meaningful difference, with a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
