Job description

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem

We are seeking a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem to join the growing team at our nationally recognized facility. In this role, the PMHNP will be responsible for treatment of our adult patient population, including performing assessment and follow-ups, creating customized care plans, and medication management. Do you have a passion for working with patients with co-occurring disorders and chemical dependence? Do you find joy in being a part of someone's life-changing recovery? Do you have the desire to serve as a Brand Ambassador to Michael's House? If so, then you would be a wonderful addition to our team! This position is located at UHS facility, Michael's House, in Palm Springs, California.

Qualifications Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Current MSN or DNP degree with specialization and board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Active California license
  • Experience working in a similar setting preferred
