These professionals perform diagnostic imaging examinations, such as X-rays, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Per diem positions offer flexibility, as techs can choose shifts based on availability, but hours and benefits may vary compared to permanent staff roles. This role is common in hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers that require extra staffing during busy periods or to cover absences.

These skills and qualities are critical to ensuring accurate diagnostic results, patient safety, and seamless integration with healthcare teams.
