Per Diem Retail Pharmacist

We are looking for an experienced Retail Pharmacist to join a per diem team supporting local pharmacy operations. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist who currently works part-time and wants additional flexibility while helping cover call-outs, vacations, and periods of increased pharmacy volume.

Position Highlights:

  • Setting: Retail Pharmacy
  • Position: Per Diem Pharmacist
  • Schedule: Monday–Saturday, typically 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, with some locations operating until 8:00 PM
  • Hours: Per diem/as-needed; hours are not guaranteed
  • QS1 pharmacy system
  • One 8-hour training shift provided before covering independently, with additional training available as needed

Requirements:

  • Active pharmacist license in the state of employment
  • 1–2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
  • Strong retail pharmacy background and ability to work independently
  • Active immunization privileges
  • Current BLS certification
  • Comfortable working in both technician-supported and pharmacist-only environments
  • Ability to step in for call-outs, vacations, and unexpected increases in prescription volume
  • Willingness to complete required training prior to providing coverage
