Job description

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital (JHACH) is seeking a Per Diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. As part of our nationally recognized children's hospital, you'll work alongside experienced nurses, support staff, and fellow physicians in a dynamic and supportive environment that emphasizes excellence in pediatric care.
About the Opportunity:
  • Certified as a designated Pediatric Trauma Center by the Florida Department of Health.
  • 26-bed Emergency Center, with plans to expand to 32 beds to meet growing demand.
  • 41,000+ annual visits, offering a high-volume, high-acuity clinical experience.
  • PEMs staff 50 hours of coverage per day with additional hours by a Pediatrician and APPs.
  • Work approximately 14 shifts per month, rotating through days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Opportunity to teach, collaborate, and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Board Certified preferred. New grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
  • Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to team-based care and a patient-centered approach.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients and families.
