Per Diem Ophthalmologist

Location: Belfast, ME Practice Setting: Busy, well-established Ophthalmology practice

Our busy, community-focused Ophthalmology practice in Belfast, Maine is seeking a per diem Ophthalmologist to join our exceptional clinical team. This role is ideal for a physician who is passionate about providing high-quality eye care and enjoys a mix of office-based visits and surgical procedures. You will be part of a supportive, collaborative environment that values patient-centered care and strong clinical partnerships.

Position Highlights

  • Provide office-based evaluation and management of ophthalmic conditions for patients of all ages
  • Perform surgical procedures based on your training and scope (e.g., cataract surgery, minor ocular procedures)
  • Opportunity to work alongside experienced ophthalmologists and clinical staff
  • Well-equipped practice with modern diagnostic and surgical technologies
  • May participate in regional call coverage rotation

Qualifications
