Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care
  • Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring clinical intervention
  • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying the plan of care accordingly
  • Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
  • Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document timely, appropriate interventions; fulfill on-call duties including 1–2 call nights per week and 1–2 weekend call shifts (24-hour), with charge duties as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current New Mexico RN license or active Compact state RN license
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Ability to float to other departments as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in an Operating Room or surgical nursing setting
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
  • National professional nursing certification or advanced nursing education (BSN or MSN)
