Committed to care, our Laboratory Technician I can enter a room and bring comfort, calm, and compassion. Join a team of Phlebotomists in a fast-paced hospital, outpatient laboratory and at a skilled nursing facility drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures.
Phlebotomy Tech - Laboratory - Day Flex
This position is a per diem (6:00AM-2:00PM and 8:00AM-4:00PM) position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY 10567.
Preferred Criteria
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience and expertise in venipuncture technique preferred.
  • Some laboratory training and EKG experience preferred.

Required Criteria
  • Ability to deal with patients pleasantly to minimize trauma to patients.
  • Must be able to function well under the normal pressures of hospital laboratory work.
  • Possess effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Possess computer skills appropriate for the position.
