Responsibilities:

The University of Rochester offers a variety of summer sports camps for children from 6 to 18 years old. This position coaches and counsels campers in these sports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coaches and counsels campers in the assigned sports.
  • Purchases, monitors, and cleans supplies and inventory to ensure readiness for camps.
  • Compiles feedback and metrics to understand needs and identify future goals.
  • Works with community, instructors, site maintenance, and other groups to ensure quality experiences.
  • Identifies activities, coordinates site and instruction needs, and ensures community programs happen as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
