Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized infusion therapy to adult and pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes. This position offers flexibility while allowing you to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based infusion therapies in patients' homes, physician offices, outpatient clinics, and hospital settings.
  • Administer IV infusions, injectable medications, biologics, chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, and first-dose antibiotics according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Establish and maintain vascular access, including peripheral IVs, PICC lines, implanted ports, and central venous catheters.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration, infusion pump operation, troubleshooting, infection prevention, potential complications, and post-treatment care.
  • Coordinate patient visits, communicate scheduling updates, and maintain timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and organizational quality and safety standards.
  • Participate in on-call, holiday, and weekend coverage as required.
  • Maintain infusion equipment, supplies, and company-issued technology in accordance with organizational policies.
QualificationsRequired
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN)
  • Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • IV Certification
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of RN experience, preferably in:
    • Infusion Nursing
    • Medical-Surgical Nursing
    • Oncology
    • Ambulatory Care
    • Critical Care
  • Demonstrated experience with IV therapy and vascular access
Preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Previous Home Care or Home Infusion experience
