Helms Home Care is searching for registered nurses who can provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes and desire to serve patients with compassion and personalized care.

Helms Home Care is a skilled nursing services company based out of Denver, NC. Our agency provides in-home infusion care to patients of all ages in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, West Virginia, Georgia, Maryland and Kentucky.

Responsibilities:

  • As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
  • Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
  • Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
  • Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
  • Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
  • Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
  • Expect to do 2 visits per week
  • Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
