Schedule: Per diem, every other Sunday 7:30am -8:00pm.
Pay Range: $36.30- $47.30, based on experience (per diem rates).

Required Job Specific Competencies:
  • Previous hospital experience desirable.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge & skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
  • The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs and to the care of the patient.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs all required diagnostic radiographic exams at routine and advanced levels without supervision.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of all Radiology related equipment.
  • Responsible for acquiring and documenting required laboratory results and physician orders, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
  • Remains competent in all radiographic procedures and protocols.
  • Maintains required continuing education requirements for ARRT and competencies within scope of practice.
  • Maintains predetermined department levels of stock for daily operations.

Qualifications:
  • Min. A.A.S. in Radiology Technology or graduation from a 2 yr AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current valid New York State License and ARRT.
  • Basic CPR training required
  • Demonstrated ability to perform gastrointestinal, genitourinary, portables, OR, cranial/facial procedures (or equivalent skills and training) required.
  • One year experience in radiographic procedures at an accredited Health Care Facility preferred.

Pay Range: $36.30- $47.30 (per diem rates)
