Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Monday through Friday lab is open from 0800-1700, Fridays 0800-1300. Total of 37 hours scheduled each week.
We need coverage 0830-1730.

Pay Range:

$19.80 - $29.70

The Phlebotomist receives orders for laboratory testing, collects blood from patients of any age or status and issues appropriate paperwork to the Advocate laboratory or outside for processing. He/she maintains the laboratory in an efficient working state and performs lab procedures while ensuring quality control.

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

A. Education

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required

2. Completion of a formal training program in Phlebotomy

3. Completion of departmental clinical evaluation checklist

B. Licensure or Certification

1. PBT (ASCP) or equivalent national certification required

C. Experience

1. At least one year experience in a lab or physician's office required
