Job description

Department: Human Health Services - Per Diem RN

Title: RN Per-Diem

Employment Type: Seasonal

Status: Non-Exempt

Grade Level: Hourly

Pay Range: $36

Reports To: Manager of Human Health Services

Schedule: Weekends and some week days.

Hours: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. depending on the day. Evening hours during the months of October, November, and December.

Position Summary

RNs will provide some Occupational Health Services: including TB testing, immunizations and venipuncture. They will also provide care for illnesses and injuries of visitors and employees in the park.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Some Occupational Health including TB testing, immunizations and venipuncture

Care for illnesses/injuries of visitors and employees at the Bronx Zoo

Document encounter notes on the appropriate forms

Drive golf cart around the park as needed to get to injured/ill visitors/employees

Perform other duties as assigned.
