Travel RN - Med Surg 2S - Stroke Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Nights (18:00 - 06:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse for the Med Surg 2S Stroke Unit. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar environment and possess a passion for providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Stroke Unit.
  • Perform assessments, interventions, and evaluations in line with the unit's standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Active Florida state or multistate RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med Surg RN, specifically in a Stroke Unit.
  • Experience in stroke care must be documented in the submission.
