Job description

Cottage Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to join our team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
In this position, you will clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas, following strict infection control and safety protocols. Responsibilities include proper waste handling, laundry transport, and supporting emergency clean-up situations as needed. You will also maintain cleaning logs and ensure equipment is used and stored properly.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards. This role requires consistency, efficiency, and a strong sense of responsibility in a healthcare setting.
