Job Description:
This position is a Per Diem position (as needed). The shift range is between 3pm up to 3am, in 4 hour increments. Job requirement is 16 hours per week minimum that can include weekends and/or weekdays.
To support patient care and provide clerical, environmental, and customer service support for the patient care unit. Performs full range of duties related to processing patient information for visits which may include: reception, registration, medical records management and telephone management. Responsible for accurate and timely input of collected information into the hospital information systems.
Salary Range:
$18.50 - $24.98 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications:

Education - HS diploma or GED; or equivalent experience. A.A.S. Degree preferred

Experience - 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Experience working with diverse clientele who may be facing medical difficulties preferred.

Skills: Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Proven work history of demonstrating proficient and courteous telephone skills and interactions with all customers. Demonstrates clear, professional written and verbal communications. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications to include word processing, and e-mail at a minimum.
