Job description

A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide coverage in the Hoover, AL area. This position requires availability from Wednesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 4th, with shifts running from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and check medication orders, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
  • Focus on infusion-related duties, including checking IV and TPN preparations
  • Utilize CareTend pharmacy system for order processing and documentation
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
  • Active and current Alabama pharmacist license in good standing
  • Prior experience in infusion pharmacy preferred
  • Inpatient pharmacist experience with IV/TPN checking accepted
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
Location:
  • Per diem coverage in Hoover, AL (serving the Bessemer area)
Schedule/Hours:
  • Wednesdays through Fridays, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (9/2 - 9/4)
