Job description

Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Carlinville, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting during night shift hours
  • Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the treating physician
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver timely, high-quality patient care
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or a compact state license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Prior experience in an emergency department or acute care setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with emergency triage protocols and high-acuity patient populations
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
