Travel Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (ED)
Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) â Stanford Hospital

Stanford Hospital â Palo Alto, CA | 13-Week Travel Assignment

Stanford Hospital is seeking three (3) experienced Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week assignment in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment.

Assignment Details
  • Location: Stanford Hospital â Palo Alto, CA
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: 9/27/26
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12-hour day shifts
  • Weekend Requirement: Must be available to work weekends
  • Pay:$2550â$3,000 gross per week based on a 36-hour work week
  • Pay Note: Stanford pays based on experience. Travel and Local rates vary.
Ideal Candidate

The hiring manager is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs who thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment and have strong critical-care and trauma experience.

Preferred/Desired Experience:

  • Level I Trauma experience
  • Strong high-acuity Emergency Department experience
  • TNCC certification
  • EPIC experience
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimal requested time off (RTO), preferably no more than one week during the assignment
Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • Current California RN License
  • Current BLS â AHA
  • Current ACLS â AHA
  • Current PALS
  • Current TNCC
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience
  • EPIC electronic medical record experience
  • Ability to successfully pass the required ECG exam
    • Minimum passing score: 85%
    • 2 attempts permitted
