CAD Specialist – Life Safety

Location: Kansas City | In-Office | Full-Time

SummaryThe CAD Specialist is responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and schematics in support of Life Safety and fire protection projects. This role works closely with engineers, project managers, and internal teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in CAD drafting within Life Safety or related construction environments.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on proficiency using AutoCAD
• Direct experience with CAD/drafting for Life Safety
• Background in construction, engineering, fire protection, or related technical industries
• Strong ability to interpret and work from blueprints, construction documents, and technical drawings
• Certified Life Safety Specialist (preferred, not required)
• Working knowledge of NFPA codes and Life Safety compliance standards (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional project teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn company-specific software tools

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure: The compensation range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 Annual Salary. This range represents REMEDI8's good-faith estimate of the compensation expected to be offered to a successful candidate at the time of hire. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, and business needs.
