Job description

BCHP's Regional Neonatal Follow up Program is currently seeking a per diem Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in early childhood development as well as the administration of neurodevelopmental testing for this age group (0-3 years). Bilingual proficiency with English andSpanish is preferred. Primary Responsibilities: Administe, scoreand interpretthe results of the Bayley Scales of Infant & Toddler Development 3rd edition (BSID 3RD ed) and or 4th edition (BSID IV) for the pediatric patients seen within our program.

Utilizing other diagnostic kits such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, second editionto expand proficiency of testing expertise is preferred. Our program does participate in NIH as well as industry sponsored research with long term outcomes utilizing tools such as the BSID 3rd ed included in the study protocol, to be performed by the successful candidate. Patient Population: Primarily two and three-year-old term and preterm children who were formerly admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after birth.

These children were identified as being at increased risk for neurodevelopmental impairment. Locations and Scheduling: Valhalla NY, Middletown NY, Rockland NY, and Poughkeepsie NY are thefour outpatient clinic locations in ?????person testing will be performed Evaluations will be scheduled on dates and at locations which are mutually convenient on a per diem basis, usually 2-4 days per month. Our Neonatal Follow up Program administration will be responsible for all scheduling of patients Pay rate Pay rate will bebetween $500 and $700 for a full day; $250-$350 for a half day.
