Job description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Orlando Central

Schedule: Per Diem Night Shift
Compensation: $47.00 per hour

Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando Central is a 31-bed free-standing critical illness recovery hospital. We specialize in helping critically ill patients breathe, speak, eat, walk and think as independently as possible. Our hospital also offers medical rehabilitation through Select Medical Rehabilitation, a 32-bed acute rehabilitation unit. The unit is designed to meet an individual’s rehabilitation needs and goals through a range of programs and services. The unit is located within Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando Central

Responsibilities

  • Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
  • Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Competence in Rapid Response and code events
  • Instruct and counsel patients/families
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid State RN License
  • BLS is required at hire.
  • ACLS is required at hire.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience
