Whether you're looking to supplement your current role or re-enter the field with flexibility, this position offers rewarding work and a chance to make a lasting difference.

Core Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Upstate Caring Partners, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals improve their communication and swallowing abilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of program participants.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
  • Educating individuals, families, and interdisciplinary team members on therapy goals, methods, and progress.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program regulations.
  • Supporting departmental operations, including equipment adaptation and supply management.
  • Assisting with staff orientation and participating in agency-wide initiatives.
  • Delivering services in both residential settings and through our Article 16 clinic, ensuring continuity of care and accessibility.

  • A valid New York State license and registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience with dysphagia is preferred.
  • A valid NYS driver’s license.
  • A collaborative spirit and a passion for helping others thrive.

As a per diem team member, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to create a schedule that works for you, while still benefiting from a supportive work culture and access to valuable resources.  If you're ready to bring your clinical expertise and compassionate care to a team that values both, apply today!
