Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Opportunity in San Antonio, TX - Apply Now!

Responsibilities

A progressive pediatric group of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners are seeking additional NNPs to join their thriving practice at Methodist Children's Hospital on a per diem basis. Join our team and enjoy the flexibility of working on your terms while continuing to make a meaningful impact in neonatal care.

The group provides a full range of newborn/neonatal care in three inner-city hospital systems with multiple Level-II and Level-III+ NICUs.

The medical community includes a wide range of mother and infant subspecialists supported by two children's hospitals for this growing South Texas area.

Responsibilities include managing and facilitating comprehensive neonatal care including programs for HFOV, nitric oxide, and ECMO.

Shifts are 24 hours in-house.

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification

  • Minimum of a master's degree and 1 year post-grad clinical experience required

  • TX license or active IMLC preferred

  • Recent clinical experience required

Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
