Job Overview:

The Special Procedure Technologist performs proper radiographic procedures as required by physician orders. Provides patient service using diagnostic, portable and fluoroscopic equipment. The Technologist is competent in the production of quality radiographs for proper treatment and diagnosis by physician.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Graduate of approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Licensed by the State of New Jersey, Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Successful completion of department specific orientation

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Evening shift
  • Per Diem
  • Scheduling will vary based on the needs of the department

Essential Functions:

  • Assist radiologist with special examinations
  • Responsible for routine and stat cases
  • IR on call if needed
