Job Description
Summary/objective
Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 123 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages the best beverage portfolio in the country, which includes several beloved global and regional brands. The Warehouse Shift Lead is a key member of the Operations team responsible for providing experienced, knowledgeable support in all areas of the warehouse to fulfill business and customer needs through not only standard essential tasks, but also when serving as relief for warehouse personnel.

Essential Functions
  • Provide general services to the Operations Management.
  • Assist in the verification of paperwork for all receipts and load outs ensuring all paperwork is complete/accurate and submitted daily to operations at shift end.
  • Assist in the handling and rework of damaged product.
  • Coordinate and maintain in general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices, and grounds.
  • Assist in the generation of documents used in the loading process as requested.
  • Assist in the movement of vehicles in and out of the warehouse.
  • Assist warehouse loaders as requested.
  • Must follow all safety guidelines as required by management.
  • Ensure all trailers are loaded in a manner consistent with dispatch times.
  • Assist in the training of warehouse loaders by providing guidance on processes as needed.
  • Ensure proper date rotation of all products.
  • Monitor proper battery charging/cycling.
  • Take daily inventory count.
  • Check all built pallets for accuracy prior to loading on delivery vehicles.
  • Run out hand-helds.
  • Serve as relief for warehouse personnel as needed during shift to fulfill business and customer needs.
  • May be required to work varying shifts, weekends and/or additional hours if needed to meet customer demand.
  • Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and observing safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
