Job description

Implementation Manager

Department: Client Services

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: New York, USA

Reporting To: Alex Hendersen

Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 / year

Description About the Team

The Client Services team at FundApps is made up of 23 people with roles in Implementation, Client Success and Client Experience (CX). Teams are based in London, New York and Singapore. We have a passion for excellent client service and set the bar high.

Weโ€™re looking for an Implementation Manager in New York who can help us scale the business whilst maintaining our high client satisfaction rating (currently 100%) and marketโ€‘leading Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 58.

The Role

Reporting to the Lead Implementation Manager in New York, you will be responsible for ensuring clients can use the services theyโ€™ve signed up for as quickly as possible. This includes onboarding new clients and adding new services for existing clients. The key areas of focus are the governance of the implementation project, and assisting with the technical system setup by providing subjectโ€‘matter expertise throughout each stage of the implementation.

While speed of delivery is an important success factor, overall client experience is a higher priority. The role requires technical expertise but places a stronger emphasis on clientโ€‘facing and soft skills, ensuring we deliver the best possible service to our clientsโ€”150+ financial institutions worldwide, including five of the worldโ€™s ten largest hedge funds.

What Youโ€™ll Be Working On
  • Ensure a consistently excellent client experience by planning, scheduling, and managing the implementation from project kickโ€‘off through to goโ€‘live.
  • Create a bespoke implementation plan (using our template) based on the clientโ€™s product suite, profile and objectives.
  • Facilitate recurring meetings with the client where you act as both a product SME and project manager, to ensure the client meets project milestones and objectives.
  • Guide the client through the data and technical requirements to build out XML/CSV files and configure APIs.
  • Proactively anticipate potential project blockers and challenges, and then find solutions and own the delivery.
  • Contribute to company goals and team success by identifying opportunities to improve workflows and processes.
  • Use your expertise to share best practices and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Help facilitate crossโ€‘team work and learning, through formal processes and channels.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders across Client Success, Product, Engineering and Regulatory teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
What Youโ€™ll Bring To The Team
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a financial SaaS, FinTech or RegTech company.
  • Financial industry knowledge and experience of working with asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds and/or banks.
  • A track record of managing multiple simultaneous complex implementation projects with demonstrated understanding of scheduling, scope and resource management, issue tracking, and escalation management.
  • Proven ability to learn technical and financial knowledge related to FundApps (XML manipulation, APIs, financial instruments, trading terminology).
  • Experience managing numerous stakeholders with varying seniority levels and priorities.
  • Advocacy for clients while balancing the best interests of FundApps and the broader client base.
  • Adaptability to change in a fastโ€‘paced, growing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills.
  • A passionate, dedicated, and solutionsโ€‘focused attitude.
  • A thirst for knowledge and a desire to constantly improve.
Salary

We are hiring across middle and senior levels. Base salary ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 per year, with the final offer based on experience and interview performance.

Work Eligibility

We require candidates to have permission to work in the US without sponsorship.

  • Private medical and dental insurance.
  • Wellbeing benefits such as private health insurance, life insurance, a flexible stipend and mental health coaching.

  • Peerโ€‘led โ€˜Brownโ€‘bag lunchโ€™ learning sessions and an annual Learning Festival.
  • 25 days holiday leave + an extra day if you use it all, and an extra day after 3 and 5 years.
  • Additional paid holiday leave after 5 years.
