Location: Remote project
Duration: 12 months
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Network Penetration Tester to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. This crucial role involves conducting sophisticated penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities within our network infrastructure and suggesting effective mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of network protocols, systems, Active Directory, and emerging cybersecurity threats.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth penetration testing on network infrastructure, including both wired, wireless networks and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities in networks, systems, and applications.
  • Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
  • Analyze testing outcomes and compile detailed reports outlining findings and remediation recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with the security team to refine security tools and methodologies.
  • Stay current with the latest technologies, techniques, and vulnerabilities in network security.
  • Engage in research and development to discover new attack vectors and security challenges.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior penetration testers.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, etc.) and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in penetration testing without the reliance on tools like Metasploit and Wireshark.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and cloud security practices.
  • In-depth understanding of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Unix.
  • Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with security systems, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and its role in network security.
