Job Summary:

The PEN Operator is responsible for continuously verifying materials and drawing in flour to systems to insure product Quality meets Customer specifications. Monitoring and adjusting the product to ensure it is up to Newly Weds Foods, Inc. standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to perform all phases of the mixing operation including, but not limited to, knowledge of location and types of ingredients, measuring and weighing processes, reading and understanding batch tickers.
  • Has the knowledge and ability to make appropriate adjustments to meet viscosity and other specifications for product produced, Works wellย without direct assistance and with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to monitor the mixing process; maintain quality and identify problems and make necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in training new mixer operators and must stay up to date on new work methods and job procedures.
  • Assist in other work areas as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High School of GED equivalent required.
  • Basic HACCP and GMP knowledge required.

Compensation: $18.55/hr - $27/hr
