Summary

In this role, you will lead the design, delivery, and operational excellence of the enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) practice.You will serve as both a technical leader and hands-on contributor, guiding a team of developers through the full automation lifecycle while establishing development standards, governance alignment, and operational support processes.You will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, prioritize delivery, and ensure automation solutions drive business value while adhering to enterprise policies and risk requirements.

Responsibilities

* Lead and mentor a team of RPA developers by providing technical direction, code reviews, coaching, and day-to-day guidance to ensure high-quality and consistent delivery.

* Design, develop, and support complex UiPath automation solutions while serving as the technical escalation point for the automation team.

* Own the full automation lifecycle including process discovery, solution design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

* Establish and enforce RPA development standards, coding best practices, reusable components, documentation requirements, and quality controls.

* Partner with business and product stakeholders to receive prioritized automation initiatives, align delivery plans, and communicate progress against commitments.

* Conduct process assessments and feasibility analyses to identify automation opportunities and provide effort, complexity, and value estimates.

* Manage and administer the UiPath platform environment including Orchestrator configuration, licensing, credential management, release management, and platform governance.

* Ensure automation solutions comply with enterprise governance, security, risk management, and operational policies.

* Monitor production automation performance and proactively address failures, exceptions, performance degradation, and support incidents.

* Define, track, and report key automation delivery and operational metrics including bot utilization, exception rates, cycle times, throughput, and hours automated.

* Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and enterprise technology teams to ensure automation platforms remain reliable, scalable, and secure.

* Identify opportunities to expand automation capabilities and improve operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

* Relevant degree preferred.

* 7 or more years of experience developing and delivering Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions required.

* Demonstrated expertise with UiPath including attended and unattended automation development required.

* Hands-on experience with UiPath Orchestrator administration, REFramework, and enterprise deployment practices required.

* Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers in a delivery-focused environment required.

* Strong process analysis and business process documentation skills with the ability to translate business requirements into automation solutions required.

* Experience managing automation solutions in production environments, including monitoring, exception handling, incident response, and operational support required.

* Strong understanding of automation development lifecycle methodologies, testing practices, and release management required.

* Experience estimating automation effort, complexity, and business value to support prioritization and planning required.

* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences required.

* Experience working within enterprise governance, risk management, change management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices required.

* Ability to establish development standards, best practices, and quality controls across an automation program required.

* Experience measuring and reporting operational and delivery KPIs required.

* Experience working within agile methodologies and cross-functional technology teams required.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex automation challenges required.

* Experience with Power Platform, AI-assisted automation capabilities, process mining, or task capture technologies preferred.

* UiPath Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification or equivalent preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.
