Job description

RPA Developer (RPA) W2 Position

Location: Minne or Denver. Denver preferred, however, open to Minneapolis. Potential contract to hire (resource must be located in XE territory) or extension.

Long Term

Overview:

The role won t be aligned to specific project

overall production support

bug fixes, small enhancements to Blue Prism Automation

making sure environment is working and running efficiently

Looking for experience in python, some automation tools rely heavily on python scripting

Size of the group: they have this person supporting BluePrism and Python. they have 6-7 BluePrism developers, they have other automation tools but this should just be BluePrism for the time being

Production Support Team

IT Admin on the team that manages the APP environment and this person will be in automation orchestration and maintenance.

They are enterprise autoamtion team - 5 PMs

Transmission, finance, nuclear, and every BU within Xcel. Those PMs own the relationships with each BU. They have visibility on assignments out to this contractor, and they will be able to go in and fix bus, improve automation with less exceptions

working alongside PMs to see how automations are running

All Stakeholders are internal.

Environment is very team work based, not as much IC. Everything is ran across the BUs, PMs, IT and BluePrism team directly, so interacting with those teams most of the time.

YOE: 5-7 is the sweet spot. Know BluePrism and Automation to be able ot jump in and be immediately helpful so they don't have to train up. + Python experience.

Week 1/Month 1: Be able to jump on and attack backlog. Start making impact week 1 on clearing backlog and making sure things run better if they are proficient with the tools.

Hours: 7:30/8-4/5

No OT expected

Extension/Conversion: 12 months to start. Pretty likely to extend and if they are doing well, they would try to onboard them as FTE

Top 3-5 Skills:

1) 5-7 Years Automation Development Experience

2) BluePrism

3) Python

NTH:

1) SAP - most automations run through SAP

2) Automation Orchestration Experience ("C Two"), not required, it's new technology, so probably hard to find.

3) Power Automate - MS Power Platform - Role could switch to that down the line. so someone with this experience would be able to shift down the line.
