The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is dedicated to providing those we serve with quality innovative behavioral healthcare in a recovery-based environment. CSB of Middle Georgia is recognized as a state leader in comprehensive behavioral healthcare providing integrated cost-effective services. CSB of Middle Georgia is located in Dublin, Georgia, and the agency currently serves residents of Bleckley, Dodge, Johnson, Laurens, Montgomery, Pulaski, Telfair, Treutlen, Wheeler, and Wilcox counties in Georgia; and in our Ogeechee Behavioral Health Division, serving residents of Burke, Emanuel, Glascock, Jefferson, Jenkins, and Screven counties in Georgia. LOCATION: Dublin, GA (in-person); Quentin's Place

The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia (CSBMG) is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team at our new state-of-the-art Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC). This facility provides critical support and stabilization services for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises in a safe, structured environment. Join us in making a meaningful impact through compassionate, person-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and document individual participation and responses
  • Provide peer support to individuals within the Crisis Service Center and TO/CSU units
  • Engage individuals through structured activities (e.g., games, puzzles, reading materials) that support understanding of the recovery process
  • Maintain and organize group materials and ensure information is current and accessible
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation of group sessions
  • Support individuals in accessing appropriate outdoor and recreational time
  • Provide basic case management support, including linking individuals to resources and services
  • Assist with pat-down searches in accordance with safety protocols
  • Support Case Manager with tasks such as ROI calls, follow-ups, NSH surveys, SOAP notes, and insurance-related processes as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with having a mental health diagnosis, behavioral health diagnosis, or addiction recovery OR being a parent to a child with a diagnosis.

Here’s what would put you over the top:

  • Hold one of the following certifications: CPS-MH, CPS-AD or CARES, CPS-P.
