RN - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), providing compassionate and professional nursing care in a dynamic clinical environment. This role involves assessing patients post-surgery, organizing and implementing individualized care plans, and ensuring a safe recovery space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify care needs.
  • Plan, organize, and evaluate patient care effectively.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.

Education

Experience

Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or equivalent.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Knowledge of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual patient needs.
