We are seeking a Permanent Physician in Utah.

Permanent Physician Pediatric Intensivist

Position Type: Permanent

Shift: 24-Hour Coverage

Position Details:
Patient Population: Pediatric
Setting: Pediatric Floor and Community-Based PICU
Responsibilities: Inpatient pediatric and PICU care, daily rounding, home call coverage, outpatient sedations (training available), participation in tele-consults, collaboration with pediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary support teams
Required Procedures: Pediatric critical care management; outpatient sedations (1 2 per week)
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Pediatric subspecialists, neonatology, nutrition, child life, case management
Coverage Model: 24/7 split coverage with morning rounds and home call
On-Call/Weekends: Home call averaging 10.5 days per month (rotational)

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care
  • Active Utah medical license or willingness to obtain
  • DEA (required prior to start)
  • CSR/CDS (required prior to start)
  • NPDB Self-Query (within the last 30 days)
  • Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred)
  • Visa support status (J1 or H1B) must be disclosed
