What is pediatric chiropractic?

Pediatric chiropractic care is a specialized branch of chiropractic that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal issues in infants, children, and adolescents. Chiropractors who work with children use gentle, non-invasive techniques tailored to a child’s developing body. The goal is to support healthy growth, address issues like posture problems, colic, or sports injuries, and promote overall well-being. Many parents seek pediatric chiropractic care to complement their child's healthcare, but it is important to ensure the chiropractor is trained and experienced in treating children.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a pediatric chiropractor?

To thrive as a Pediatric Chiropractor, you need a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree, state licensure, and specialized training or certification in pediatric chiropractic care. Familiarity with diagnostic imaging, electronic health records, and pediatric-specific chiropractic techniques is essential. Exceptional communication, patience, and the ability to build trust with children and their families are crucial soft skills. These competencies ensure safe, effective treatment and foster positive relationships, which are vital for young patients’ health outcomes.

What challenges do pediatric chiropractors encounter when working with children, and how are they addressed?

Pediatric chiropractors often face challenges such as gaining the trust and comfort of young patients, communicating effectively with both children and their parents, and adapting techniques to suit different ages and developmental stages. To address these, practitioners use child-friendly language, maintain a welcoming and safe environment, and utilize gentle, age-appropriate adjustments. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is also common, ensuring comprehensive care for each child.

Job description

CHIROPRACTIC ASSOCIATE WANTED!

Deep Rooted Chiropractic is a neurologically-based, pediatric, prenatal, and family wellness practice located in Malvern, PA — and we are growing!

We believe that families who plant deep roots in health will raise a healthier generation. As a husband-and-wife doc duo, we have built a practice that truly feels like family — and we are looking for the right person to grow with us.

A little about us:

  • We currently see over 60% pediatrics and are 100% cash-based
  • We are one of only two Pediatric Experience (PX) certified offices in the greater Philadelphia, Delaware, and South Jersey areas
  • We utilize CLA Insight scanning technology (Thermography, sEMG, and HRV) to objectively assess how well the nervous system is functioning and adapting to stress
  • Our adjustments are gentle and specific, and we cater our care to each individual's unique needs
  • We see kids with conditions including ADHD, anxiety, autism, sensory processing disorder, colic, reflux, torticollis, ear infections, speech delays, and so much more
  • We also support women through pregnancy and preconception using Webster's Technique

What we're looking for:

We are seeking an ambitious, energetic, passionate and compassionate chiropractor who is:

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume, open environment
  • Loves working with kids (especially Perfect Storm  cases), babies, pregnant mamas, and full families
  • Willing to obtain Pediatric Experience (PX) Certification (if not already certified)
  • Knowledgeable of Diversified, Thompson, Webster, and Torque Release Technique (TRT)
  • Committed to educating and empowering families on their health journey
  • A strong communicator and team player who thrives in a supportive, mission-driven office
  • Excited about mentorship, professional growth, and the potential to help us expand to future locations!
  • Licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania

What we're offering:

  • A thriving, growing practice with a steady flow of pediatric and prenatal patients
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Opportunity for bonuses based on performance and practice growth (KPI or profit share)
  • 3.5–4 day work weeks
  • A close-knit, family-oriented team that truly supports each other
  • A culture that prioritizes work-life balance for everyone
  • A chance to build something BIG with a team who is on fire to serve our community!

If you're looking for more than just a job — if you want to be part of a movement that's changing lives and shaping the future of pediatric chiropractic care — we'd love to connect with you!

To apply: Send me a short introduction about why you're excited to join our team.

Let's grow, serve, and create impact — together!
