Job description

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)
Location: Philadelphia, PA 
Shift: AM Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
 


Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Bone Marrow Transplant unit. This position requires a nurse with experience in oncology or transplant care, strong clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess, implement, and evaluate care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplants.

  • Collaborate with physicians, patient families, and interdisciplinary teams to provide individualized care plans.

  • Monitor patient condition and response to treatment, adjusting care as needed.

  • Direct nursing support staff in the delivery of patient care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital and nursing standards.

  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.


Requirements:

  • License: PA Registered Nurse License (Required)

  • Certifications: BLS – Basic Life Support (Required)

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Required); BSN (Preferred)

  • Experience: 1 year in a clinical specialty area such as oncology or transplant (Preferred)
