Pediatric Associates is seeking a Per Diem Outpatient Pediatrician to join our practice in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Our team of highly qualified Board-Certified Pediatricians and experienced Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants deliver superior care with compassion. Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is the largest pediatric primary care organization in the United States, providing care to over 1.6 million children across more than 250 locations in seven states (Arizona, California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas). Position Overview:
  • Provide per diem coverage between St. Lucie North and St. Lucie West, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts in the Palm Beach area
  • Flexible scheduling available, including:
    • Morning shifts: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
    • Afternoon shifts: 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM/7:00 PM
    • Full-day shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM/7:00 PM
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical record system
  • Comprehensive training provided, including three consecutive days (Monday-Wednesday) followed by additional in-office training

Education, Licensure & Certification:
  • M.D. or D.O. degree required
  • Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
  • Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
