What is a peak performance coach?

A Peak Performance Coach is a professional who helps individuals or teams reach their highest potential in their personal or professional lives. They use techniques from psychology, neuroscience, and performance science to enhance motivation, focus, resilience, and productivity. By identifying strengths and areas for growth, these coaches guide clients in setting and achieving ambitious goals. Peak Performance Coaches often work with athletes, executives, entrepreneurs, and anyone looking to optimize their performance.

How does a peak performance coach typically collaborate with clients and other professionals to help clients achieve their goals?

A Peak Performance Coach frequently works one-on-one with clients to identify strengths, set measurable goals, and develop personalized strategies for improvement. Collaboration extends to coordinating with other professionals such as fitness trainers, nutritionists, or mental health experts, depending on the client's needs. Regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and progress tracking are integral to the process, ensuring clients stay motivated and on target. This multidisciplinary approach not only supports clients in achieving their specific objectives but also fosters holistic development.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a peak performance coach, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Peak Performance Coach, you need expertise in goal setting, motivational techniques, and performance analytics, often supported by a degree in psychology, coaching, or related fields and relevant certifications (e.g., ICF, NLP). Familiarity with assessment tools, coaching platforms, and psychometric tests is typically required. Exceptional communication, active listening, and emotional intelligence help coaches connect with clients and foster trust. These skills are vital for empowering clients to overcome obstacles, maximize their potential, and achieve sustained high-level results.

Job description

Field Service Technician – Mechanical
Tube Form Solutions | Elkhart, IN (Travel Required)

About Us
Tube Form Solutions is a leading distributor of capital equipment for the metal fabrication industry, including CNC tube benders, fiber laser systems, tube end forming machines, saws, and press brakes. We support an installed base of hundreds of machines across the U.S. and are growing our field service team to keep our customers running at peak performance.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC and hydraulic capital equipment at customer facilities. You'll be the face of our company in the field — solving problems on the shop floor and building lasting relationships with our customers.
What You'll Do

  • Travel to customer sites to install, commission, and service CNC tube benders, fiber lasers, tube end formers, and related equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Communicate clearly with customers and document service work
  • Provide phone/remote troubleshooting support when needed
  • Represent the company professionally on-site
What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical/industrial field service, machine repair, or a related trade
  • Strong mechanical aptitude — hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-controlled equipment experience a plus
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Comfortable using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%+), including occasional overnight and multi-day trips
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • CNC machinery, welding, or metal fabrication equipment experience preferred
